It's actually the perfect time. YLP is designed for the gap between admit and joining. Students who start here walk into Semester 1 with a 6-month head start over their batch.
No — YLP builds the foundation through domain mastery and your profile using the Live Project. Think of it as everything you wish someone told you before Day 1 of B-school. For placement prep, you should choose Placement Mastery where you will learn how to crack interviews.
Yes. You'll explore 7 specialisations — Marketing, Finance, Consulting, Operations, HR, Product, and Analytics — through a consistent 4-6 sessions so you can compare them honestly before committing for 2 years.
The program runs across around 8 weeks with 10 structured phases. You'll attend multiple sessions each week, covering curriculum, mentor check-ins, and your Live Project.
Classes are live for Batch 1 so you get real interaction, feedback, and peer learning. Recordings are shared for the following batches to ensure that you can learn and follow at your own pace.
You'll get access to the recording plus session notes. Your mentor can also help you bridge anything critical — you won't fall behind.

Yes, a laptop is required for using excel functions. Prior Excel knowledge, no. The 6-session Excel module is built from the ground up, right up to what your SIP manager will actually throw at you.
YLP gets you B-school-ready; PM gets you placement-ready. Most YLP students take PM in their B-school year for SIP or Final placement prep — they're sequential, not overlapping.
All YLP plans include access to a single domain of your choice. Additional domains may be added for ₹999 each.
YLP: Includes all sessions and masterclasses for your selected domain.
YLP Plus: Includes everything in YLP, plus a live project to build your profile and practical skills.
YLP Pro: Includes everything in YLP Plus, plus mentorship from a top B-school mentor to guide your project and career profile.
Your access to the YLP course will be active for 6-months. However, you should aim to finish the course and the live project within the specified timeline to truly benefit from the program. Check you LMS for timelines.
