YLP builds your foundation before B-school (profile, domain, CV basics). PM sharpens you inside B-school for the actual placement room (story, mocks, role-specific depth, pressure handling). Different stages, different goals.

Not yet. PM assumes you're already in B-school with a formed CV and a domain direction. As a fresher, YLP is where you start — PM comes later.

PM is the direct placement prep program. YLP makes PM more effective by the time you reach it, but if placement is your single focus and you're already in B-school, PM is the answer.

Not mandatorily. If you're pre-MBA, YLP first, PM later. If you're already in a B-school, PM alone is enough. Taking both gives you the strongest ladder — but each works standalone for its stage.
